A visit from my dog

Hello all. Just had this dream a few minutes ago. I'm outside, at an unfamiliar location. It's very large, but I'm the only person there. I see my dog Teddy, whom I haven't seen since the early 80s. He's a distance away from me, like several feet. All of a sudden he's right in front of me, sitting down looking at me. I immediately hug him, as I miss him so much. That's it, the dream is over. Any thoughts on this?

It sounds like you miss your old dog. Lol. Difficult to say more unless I knew more about what he meant to you or what that time you were with him was associated with.

Thanks to you both for your replies. The location has me drawing a blank,as its nowhere I've been to in the past. The only way I'd describe it is it's a big area for one person to be in. Don't think I'll ever get it, with the exception of being with my dog.
