Last night's dream
The rain is falling, and I feel so exhausted in this dream
every lift of my leg feels like too much effort.
The world is blurry in my eyes from the rain, so I'm not sure of where I am...or what I'm doing, I'm holding something in my hand.
The ground feels like gravel under My feet, but I feel like I've got sandels or shoes on?
I'm shuffling along in the rain beginning to feel cold unable to gather any thoughts other then the drive or feeling the need for movement.
I reach feeling what I think is a wall and lean against it but it's warm, and it takes the chill away I look up into a familiar face, they brush the hair from my face and wipe the water from my eyes.
Even half drowned I feel slightly revived.
I want to stop, want to give up, not sure I can succeed in walking more.
a voice from somewhere says
"They’re almost home."
