There are online descriptions on 'fragmented dreams' - dreams which are difficult to put to words.

Personally, I experience such dreams about one to three times per month.

I have dreams where there are abrupt jumps from one scene to another or to different places without any logical transition. There are also sudden changes in characters, settings, or perspective, sometimes while keeping the same story or completely changing it. Usually, when I have those dreams, I only remember parts of them, or I feel a kind of confusion, so to speak, when trying to recall the whole dream, because I’m not sure if it was a single dream or several that I had during the night. I’m not sure if this is the kind of dream you’re referring to?

Generally speaking: those fragments are quite normal.
It is said, all dreams from one night are usually connected.
And we should not forget, dreams are also there to protect our sleep.
Imagine we would act out what we dream...
And rather at the end of a night, before we wake up, dreams have a tendency to " condense" maybe a whole dream into just a few images...
As Erick said that he is not sure if it was a single dream or a combination of more then that..well observed...
I myself found out that too much news or blue light are not good for me...I like to read myself into my sleep...the paperfeeling of a book..thats my good night start

I don’t remember where I read that, from a psychological perspective, fragmented dreams can also reflect a partial processing of emotions or thoughts. In other words, the brain tries to work with emotional or mental material but fails to integrate it into a complete narrative. I’m not sure how true this is.

what is described is not unusual by any means. sometimes i have similar fragmented dreams . even when a dream is lucid and very well remembered there are segments of it not recalled. i say this from experience

Lately, I've expreinced a couple of fragmented dreams for a clear reason - I've been busier than usual lately. These dreams clearly exhibited attempts at multi-taking several different things.
