Strange dream what does it mean

I had a dream last night that I met Elton John and tried to sing his song Rocket Man, but my throat was messed up and I wasn't able to sing as good as I usually can (I do enjoy singing but I don't do it in front of others very much). He told me my voice was basically just okay but it wasn't special enough that I would ever make it big as a singer. I told him my throat was messed up and I couldn't sing very well that day. But I was like "Thank you anyway for being honest and genuine I really appreciate it." He asked me "What do you need? Do you need money?" I was like "Umm...well...I mean..." I didn't want to say yes because I didn't know if it was rude or not. He was like "Okay", pulled out a checkbook, and wrote a check for exactly $1,136,707.00 (for some reason I could read text in this dream, and I remember that exact number). After he wrote it, instead of tearing it off, he just handed me the entire checkbook and then walked away. I saw how much it was, and I was like "Hey, wait!" but he left. At first I was worried about it, and I was trying to figure out how to contact him and ask him if he meant to write a check for that much or if it was a mistake. I couldn't figure out how, so I eventually decided I would just go deposit it. Because I did need money very badly, although nowhere near that much.

(I was aware of the circumstances in my actual waking life as well. I was thinking I finally have enough money now to get my fiance and I a house and everything we would ever need)

After that, the majority of the dream was just me trying to grab the check, but it would not let me grab it. I either kept getting confused and forgetting where it was, or when I found it and tried to grab it, it would blow away.

In the end of the dream, I was at my mom's house (still trying to get that check so I could go deposit it) and the house seemed haunted or possessed. Like I saw demons in the house, and the cabinets and doors were flying off the hinges and flying into me. One door hit me so hard it knocked me through the window and out into the front lawn. Right then, I saw the check go fluttering by through the air again. I ran after it again, trying to grab it, but I never could. It finally landed in a puddle and got wet and smudged so it was ruined.

After that I went and jumped in my mom's pool and sank to the bottom, and I was going to just lay there and let myself drown. People started jumping in the pool trying to grab me and save me, but I just kept kicking them away and wouldn't let them. (that part was a recurring dream I have had before) Then I guess I woke up.

Thank you, allow me to ask if you still live at home?
The flight situation gives me more time to engage here..
Your dream is a very classic one...
We all are children from parents, but we all have to break the umbilical cord to free ourselves from our parents.
Especially mother son connections are very strong..
Behind mother dreams ( Gg Jung says) is the GREAT MOTHER..Mother Nature...live giving and
devouring.
Since there is a huge amount of money aka energy involved, you have to try to get that..🎏

No I do not still live with my mom. In fact I kind of have the opposite problem. My brother and I are struggling to survive on our own and might lose our apartment and we dont feel like our family is helping us enough

Thank you for your dialogue...sometimes the dream maker might not reflect your daily situation...wait for more dreams, sometimes there are follow up messages🎏

To me the dream tells of a need for mothering energy, the fact that is shown by you drowning in the emotional pool of your mother's home. It's your own overwhelm of how to be nurturing and stable as the world around you swings like a pendulums.
The money and Elton John are just internal aspects of things you want or need in yourself, it can also suggest putting yourself to the test and writing out a check to yourself that one day you can reach basically make a list of your goals. See them view them, break them down
Then you make a plan.
The dream seems strange but it's pretty straight forward.
It's telling you how to take steps forward.
