I have a lot of dreams where my home is in somewhat of a mall or mill conversion type of structure. I live in a small single family detached house IRL. It is a reoccuring backdrop theme but I'm not quite certain what means. last night I dreamed of a house that was mine (& very much like my real house). i was moving out & doing some repairs. I kept finding false walls and hidden doors to huge hidden rooms & even into neighbors' houses. by the end, I'd travelled all of the way down the street, around the corner and was exploring the attic of a barn, all without having left my house.

You don't quite know what it means but you said it already: "you were moving", better said "you have been moved out, .../ kicked out ( without knowing), "
In former dreams it was a mall, a mill, that is to say a crowded busy public space. Your a wandelen in your 'own' house: That is the message that your Soul has been trying to bring over!
Since the body of the dreamer is represented as his / her house it means that spiritually you have become a 'wo)man of the town', a public woman, .... every spirit can go in and out, it is not solely the home of the maried' couple , spirit and Soul. What is the reason?

SO for fun additions to your dream world, did you know their are people who Lucid dream or dream about a mall landscape and when they came together they mapped it out only to realize it was identical? Some aspect change but over all the "Mall" dreamscape remains the same typically.
Now what this means as it appears more common in specific age groups. (Who also claim to have encountered people there and passages to other areas of this mall) who know for certain, all I know is that it might spark your interest if you want to deep dive into it.
Now for your dream, it kinda feels like your inspecting the curious facets of the life and person you've build only to discover more then you orginally understood, like where it came from and how it's connected back to the main branch of you.
Spiritually it's very rich in how you move about the world like a ant in a way. Seen but unseen and it transfers over to how you feel about your life.
