HAd an extremely viviid dream of an old flame. He was lying next to me - all was well. A wonderful feelin. The dream ended with him ever so light kissing me on the lips - hardly touching. I awoke and had residual wonderful feelings. I learned several weeks later that at the time of the dream, he had passed away several weeks earlier. Input is welcome.

Ok I love these kinda spiritual dreams, my great grandmother and my mother were really spiritual and had weird stuff like this happen often, and I fully would believe this was someone you care about telling you goodbye.
It can also be your mind or energy picking up on the loss unwittingly and giving you a bit of closure, if you wanna be less fun with it!
