i want opinions, not necessarily solutions. whatever you have to offer i will listen to. you need not be a genius or a sage with mystic insight. just your own view of it is sufficient.

a resumee? and condensation? not sure i understand. i try to keep my descriptions of dreams as concise as possible.but in the case of some of them this is not an easy thing to do . i include as many details as i can in order to make the meaning clear . as to how I feel about it, i think in the case of this dream it says
says how i felt. i post these dreams in order to learn someone else' point of view . speaking of which. what is your view of it? being so well versed in Jungian symbolism i am looking forward to reading your view on it
Totally Jungian. Hed a hadda field day. Very interesting. Earlier arcade was a hell-like or at least Shadow side thing. Making your moral position clear. But you're not at odds with them so much as have sovereignty and freedom to leave finding integration.
I can't believe the second part was so accurate as to directions of the arrows and stuff. But that's the mandala! The wheel. A form of spiritual balance. Centered and balanced. Finding Wisdom of the Shaman.
I don't know you but this is a classic and quite an important dream. Says good things about your level of growth and evolution.

hello,Will and welcome to the forum.your analysis hits the mark. this dream does represent how i feel about much of the world around me. the moral choice between good and evil. and with many people the distinction is often confused. with the sense of right and wrong being blurred. the condottiero or landsknechten representing evil and the medicine man representing good. for many there is a very hazy line in between.

BTW: I was just reading that book of Jung's lectures on Bailey Island Maine about Wolfgang Pauli's dreams and stuff that somebody here recommended. He was talking about the Mandala - sometimes the ourobiros or whatever it's called - snake with its tail in its mouth - other times other circular or encircling symbols, and this seems to me a great example of that.

certainly. i am American but studied and been exposed to different cultures and religions since childhood. those 2 words are as you surmised,Italian and German. names for hired soldiers of that era. i will check your dream

i never knew about Wolfgang Pauli's dreams. i did know him as the brilliant scientist who discovered vitamin C. a quantum physicist who laid down the Pauli principle. and incidentally, a good friend of Carl Jung whose dialogue led to the Pauli-Jung conjecture. which thought the world was governed by archetypes. and a deeper reality . you can check that out. feel free to check my dream A SHORT BUT PERPLEXING DREAM AND THE STATION OF INFINITY on page 11. or A TRIP THROUGH A PORTAL AND A DUAL VISTA on page 12. you may find both dreams interesting. they are both full of archetypes
