Anyone else dream of detailed, alien designs or creatures?

I had a long, complex dream last night that I didn't feel like writing out, mostly because so much of it was lost by the discomforting sequence that happened at the end. I was chatting with someone about the scourges of alien creatures (invasive ones, is the feeling I get, trying to take over our area). I raised my hand to gesture and noticed a small one on my arm, burrowed in. It had the torso design and size of a wasp, but instead of poison, it had a numbing agent so its victim wouldn't feel it there, and its "body armor" was more segmented, more like that of an insect-sized armadillo (and similar dull clay color). Its wings were folded tightly to the body so not to attract attention, and as I pinched it to pull it away from my arm, I saw the head of it...it was like a leech yet not as soft, with what I knew were lots of tiny teeth for latching on and (I guess) sucking blood at a slow enough rate not to be felt. I was repulsed (grossed out), of course, yet I was reluctant to kill it, so I just held it between my fingers, wondering what to do with it as it squirmed and I woke up. Truly bizarre critter, and in such detail as to boggle the mind! Other than just for mind bending-expanding giggles, what could it possibly have been for?

Yes. I dreamed of an alien that was about 7’ tall and thin, with short fur. It was augmented with external batteries. (A significant part of physical strength is the power and quality of the pulse that comes from the brain, though this dream is the only time I’d ever encountered an enhancement idea based on that.) On another occasion I dreamed of an alien with two spinal columns, one connected to each brain hemisphere. Another time I had a lucid dream of being a “turtle”, though it didn’t look very much like a turtle and no animal like that currently exists in our world. And I had a lucid dream of being on an alien world. It was cool and arid with relatively red soil, but with earth-like gravity and an atmosphere. None of these dreams sound very interesting (though I’m leaving out a lot of detail), but the underlying felt impressions that were expressed in the dream images were notable to me. There have been other dreams besides these, but these are the first that came to mind.
