Do you believe in spiritual encounters in dreams?

Many religion and spiritual practices use techniques and interpretation to give meaning to dreams and signs.
Shamanic practices around the world combine meditations, fasting, substances used to induce wave lengths similar to dream states.
To predict or bring out deeper meanings or ideas.

so im curious and would
I'd love to hear stories from people who've had spiritual encounters, or events happen that seem strange, unexplainable, or weird.

My great grandmother always seemed to know when things happened event without being told, she knew when people passed or when children were born. my mother always was amazed by her when she was younger.
My mother told me she'd learned stories of her great grand mother, and how she could do strange things, like stop people from bleeding out. (She said this to me ages ago, so I don't recall much else) But that her great grandmother refused to use the ability for/on animals believing God only wanted her to help humans.
Now my mother isn't very religious so for her to bring this up kinda hit harder so I think it's why I recall the story.

But my mother also had things like this happen, one morning she woke up and begged my stepfather not to go to work, that something was gonna happen with the machine and he would die, my stepfather laughed at it, but used the excuse to take a day off, the next day he went in he'd learned the safety malfunctioned on the machine he was going to be on, the guy who replaced him was seriously hurt... my stepfather never joked about my mothers dreams again... or her instincts.

So what about other people, do you have stories or family events?
I'm super curious as to what you all might think about them

well, since you want an example i can give you one,although it is not and cannot be supported by empirical evidence. it was certainly unusual and it will be interesting to see what you think of it. i was on a platform of a train station with a woman waiting to catch a train, then a large muscular man appeared. the interesting thing was i knew what was on everyone's mind simultaneously. i could feel the terror this woman felt. and the ruthless determination in the man's mind. i knew he was a hit man sent to kill her. she had information certain special interests did not want relayed. so i thrust myself between her and the killer and grabbed his arm. to my own surprise i blocked the blow. then i picked him up with no more difficulty than a plastic pail- he was well over 6 feet tall and must have weighed about as much as a heavyweight boxer- and put him on a elevated snowbank above the station platform. then i returned to the train platform and asked the woman "are you all right?" no answer. i did not know if she even heard me. then i woke up in my apartment. now this could very well be set down to an intense lucid dream. at first,i thought that was exactly what it was. but i had an acquaintance who is an expert hacker,who i told about the dream. it took place in a foreign country. so he successfully hacked the police records of this country.i need not tell you how difficult that is, with all the passwords and encrypt ions. so you have some idea of how proficient he is. it turned out there was a part of the police report not released to the media, where the woman involved said a ghost-like figure rescued her. this assassin had a reputation for the speed and precision of his methods . i still am not sure whether this is true or not. if so, i saved someones life but there is no way it can possibly be proven. if true, this is a bit more than communication but i submitted this for its extraordinary possibilities​

True or not, it's still a unique story that ties to dreams and potential Astral projection.
Very interesting, I do wonder if you could give a accurate description of the people involved. It could prove helpful for your personal reference regarding the story validity. Or if something interesting like.that happens again.

i could give a general description of the people, although nothing that would reveal their identities. the woman was of medium height,slender ,and carrying a case. the assassin i have already given i have already given a general description of with a big frame, a large head , and long arms, of immense strength with dark hair . that is the best description i can give. it is a very general description , and nothing that would pinpoint who they are, if they exist. it was a very lucid dream and i recall waking up feeling as though i just had been in a physical fight. i did not see the actual; report but was only told of it, but the circumstances do seem to fit. standing on a platform waiting for a train , being attacked and no other people around and then an unknown force intervenes -all of these fit the facts, maybe it is sheer coincidence,but i think that seems unlikely. i have no way to verify the truth of this or contact any of the people involved, but as you say it is a story that relates to dreams and projection . if true it has implications for hidden powers of the mind and raises questions about the nature of reality, which has more to it than what is perceived

Didn't they do experiments like that in the past? Regarding Astral projection and visual mapping , I swear theirs notes that have been released somewhere regarding the military in many countries attempting just that

oh yes, i think you mean remote viewing. with ingo swann, they ran experiments with remote viewing, with results that were sometimes spectacular. including being able to see inside a facility and grasp its layout and know what equipment it had . the farsight institute has been doing research on that since 1995 .they have their own website . farsight.org . this has been going on for quite awhile. Dr Russell Targ is also known for his research into remote viewing.
