Hi and Thankyou for the welcome 🤗
When I was I’m y 20’s I often dreamt that the then house that I was living in was turning into damp decay and collapsing in every room and that, strange white worm creatures were living there.

After many years the dreams just stopped. Now that I am in my 40’s, have changed house and changed town, the dreams are back. But now the floor disappears into big holes in the house with a a lot of mud, wet grass and cut down tree stumps.
Any ideas? X

It seems that from my personal take.
It's about fearing the cycles one has to go through regarding death and rebirth, where your original basic life foundation and structures were already rotting and decay, some times a mental symbol that your life while growing up or in that period of time lacked the things that made it stable.(patterns, routines, relationships, environment, emotional stability) Now weirdly the worms could tell of you understanding this aspect, and using them to help break down the old and create fertile new foundation, the hole though note that perhaps this issue runs deeper, perhaps inside you. Not in a negative way, but one of epiphany.
You've moved but something has reverted hence the dream being resurrected.

That's just my take.
