Oh that's so awful! I'm sorry to hear your going through that. Hopefully you get some peace from the migraines soon.

But I'd love to see some of your work some time! If your willing to share them with us 😀

I've been listening to more trivial fantasy books. But honestly I've been wondering about other books to fill my mind with, kinda wonder what to expand my interests into that will broaden my horizons 😆

I'm always up for recommendations, I'm curious as what Helia might read for fun?

I hope your thanksgiving was lovely dear.
so you are up for recommendations. what type of books do you usually read? if your reading matter includes criticism of the society we live in ,there are myriad authors i could recommend. some good fiction too. such as Isaac Asimov ,Ray Bradbury, George Orwell (author of 1984, a chilling dystopian view of where humanity can end up if we are not careful) ,Hermann Hesse
(a profound writer ) John Dos Passos (an insightful writer too in his way) Mikhail Bulgakov, (author of the master and margarita) Ignacio Altamirano (a Mexican dramatist) Martin Buber (a serious philosopher, very discerning) Russell Davenport (an insightful analyst) and finally but not least Henry David Thoreau the famous author of walden and the advocate of civil disobedience. i do not know how familiar you may be with some of these authors. i recommend them for their content. Isaac Asimov and Ray Bradbury are so well known they require no introduction. here are my recommendations and i hope you enjoy reading them

Honestly once upon a time I read everything, now.. ive just been reading feel good fluff stuff but I think my mind is bored, thanknyou so much for the list I might start with the philosopher you mentioned martin buber, seems my intuition was peaked at the name, so I'll lean into it with hope. Lol Orwell I just finished a few months back finally got to read 1984... my honest opinion is that book will always stay modern because of the way humans attempt to control one another.
It's both a wonderful read and anxiety inducing. 🙃 😆

Sorry I've not responded sooner I've been sick with a bad flu/cold not sure which for the last 7 days. Just started feeling human again yesterday.😷🤧

You've got a strong love of literature 📖, I'm glad to have someone around that can help me exercise my brain 🧠 😀 😄 besides Helia 🥰
