Music in dreams relating to dream experiences?

Anybody experience music in sleep-dreams - where dream content matches the meaning behind specific music?

I had recently experienced a dream with Bob Dylan's 'Knockin' On Heaven's Door.' In the dream, I was walking-up stairs in the dark (guided-along by an unknown symbolic guide). Upon reaching a tall, rather unassuming looking, greenish/purple door, I noted bright light shining through the cracks in the door - all while I was...........knocking on the door.

I woke-up with that "WHOA feeling" - hence, it's unknown how this dream would have concluded.
I'm reassessing the first two posts in this disc. thread: Original post, and response to original post.

I've never experienced a dream where music matches the content of my dream so closely. My dream featuring, Bob Dylan's 'Knockin' On Heaven's Door' remains a perfect example.

RELATED to entire discusison-thread: Music, or songs is featured frequently in many of my dreams because I'm able to listen to the radio while doing work projects. It's intersting to have music (only occassionally) heard via radio show-up in dreams.

The dream I had a couple of nights ago took on an almost comical experience - while listening to the 1979 BeeGees song, 'Tragedy.'

The five minute song has a notable one to two second pause at around three and a half minutes into the song. In the dream, the pause went beyond a couple of seconds - that is the slight background audio within the pause in the song lasted several seconds. It is then, I felt that "well, what happended to the rest of the song??" sentiment. I sensed a few people in the background were quietly laughing (all in good fun) at my reaction to the song's pause.

After the extended pause, the song resumed.

Any similar experiences?

I had experienced a dream - of two songs (listed below) combined into a rather unique, yet seemingly familiar blend of audio:

* The 1966 'Walker Brothers' song, 'The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Anymore.'

* The 1978 'Electric Light Orchestra' (ELO) song, 'Sweet Talkin' Woman.'

In the dream, was a singer (who looked familiar to me personally) who was singing on a stage these two songs blended together - with what might have been two differnt bands performing in the background. These two songs are stilll periodically played on radio-stations to this day.
On a whim, I had entered the two songs mentioned in the ^above^ dream into a site that applies recommender algorithms - that is recommendations are made based-on user preferences.

Sure enough, one of many songs recommended was singer Gerry Rafferty's 1978 song, 'Right Down the Line' (extended version).

My dream featured the song 'Right Down the Line' playing. The scene in the dream included a little-known album cover to 'Right Down the Line' - the cover featuring train-tracks through the woods of trees just changing into their Autumn colors. This album cover picture is avaliable online.

The first several seconds of 'Right Down the Line' featured an animated scene of a person who resembeled 'Gerry Rafferty' walking, and dancing up the train tracks to the beat of Right Down the Line's opening instrumental portion - a clear reference to this little-known album cover. I was also visiting New England one-weekend (with the changing Autumn colors) around the time when 'Right Down the Line' was played on the radio often.

This dream took a comical, third person perspective; as the person resembling Rafferty dancing, and walking and up the train-tracks was me. Just as Rafferty began singing, and also walking, and dancing right behind me on the other side of the tracks, I had preceeded to motion my hands to introduce Mr. Rafferty, while quickly running into-the-woods, to quickly turn over the scene to Mr. Rafferty - an awesome singer who left us too soon!

Thank-you for the upvote.

In another dream, the first several seconds of Rafferty's 'Right Down the Line' featured scribbled CAP letters on white white paper of acronyms to five of Rafferty's songs.

The acronyms in scribbled CAPS: HAD (Home And Dry), RDTL (Right Down The Line), GIRNT (Get It Right The Next Time), BAKST (Baker Street), NIOW (Night Owl).

The scribbled CAP letters appeared as animated. A scribbled arrow was pointing, and moving towards the RDTL acronym - RDTL being the song 'Right Down The Line' that was noted in the dream.

The music video in the 1985 song, 'Take On Me' is noted for it's original design e.g., dream-like content, animated pencil drawings.

I've had a couple of sleep dreams to the song, 'Take on Me' - yet I don't remerber whether or not the any part of the music video showed-up in my dreams.

'Take On Me' is stilll memorable after over forty years!
