Wow now this is really interesting. Twas a dream movie I was watching. About a black guy dreaming. Or some guy dreaming. I'm in an apartment. At one point or shows the guy having a dream of meeting a girl - he's a different guy in the dream - not black - a white guy I guess Its done in like cartoon images or partly do. He meets her and they are like to shapes or cartoonish simple characters that then merge.
Soon it shows him waking up and then to illustrate that the screen breaks into 6 different boxes with identical kinda rhythmically shifting images that change from the color imagery to a more dark theme and then resolves to first abstract shapes, then his room scenes, then his face as a black guy as he remembers himself and wakes up. Ie 6 of each.
I tell somebody:"cool, see that's him waking up." Its a really neat creative way to do that I think.
At some point I'm back watching/in the movie (I think after leaving my apartment which is also his apartment or then I'm outside if his apartment knowing he's in there and I come in?) and there has been some reasonably fun happy or hopeful parts but now it's clear that it's time for bad stuff to happen:
At the door of the apartment, someone or some THING wants to come in. Then in it comes in as the room becomes larger and more hall-like. Its a huge (man sized or bigger) mouse! It somehow proceeds in slow motion looking eerie, sad, tired, and evil. Its not cartoonish but more puppet like. With all the grey fur like made out of more like wool or yarn. The beady reflective eyes gazing straight at the viewer as it advances...
Its ominous but I sort of laugh too.
Also the film shows a scene of a lake some miles away. The evil brothers of the criminal new thing are beginning to crash planes into it. Whereas before it was a pastoral calm flyover sight for them.
