So I have this recurring dream that I get at least once every couple months. In the dream, I'm in this whole different world and in my dream I have "memories" of living in this world (which isn't that abnormal for me, it's just as if my subconsciousness has world-built the dream, yk?), but in this dream I'm in a large group of people (maybe a thousand people) who are all underground because toxic chemicals need to be cleared from the air above-ground. I'm also with my family in my dream (mom, dad, sister). Again, this is pretty regular for me.
But the weird thing is, as the dream goes on (it always feels like I'm there for a couple days), I start seeing these dark moving shapes in my peripheral vision. At one point in the dream, I'm lying in my sleeping bag and no one else is around and the dark moving shapes get closer and I tell them to go away and they actually reply saying that "they can't." Understandably, this creeped me out. And then a little later, all of us in the underground structure gather in a large room for an announcement. I'm standing at the back of the room and lean up against the wall when I suddenly feel like I'm being stabbed from behind right at the base of my back (which I actually do get stabbed a lot in my various dreams). But in this dream, I look back and it's like a huge dark stain on the wall that's inky and it's solidified and stabbed me. And I don't die, but then I start to feel really weird and black inky stuff oozes from my eyes and ears and also the stab wound.
At this point it feels like some sort of venom movie or something because my outfit changes into this very superhero-movie-style villain outfit and then I start just attacking everyone. And then my dream ends.
Anyway, I don't know why this always recurs so often, maybe my subconsciousness is just really into dramatic villain scenes lol.
