For quite awhile, I've hoped to have dreams offering practical insights. Here is a dream experienced the previous night (as of this writing).
I had been in three-rooms, each room with several people with numerous used books piled on the tables.
In each of these rooms, we were seated at tables, and had to sort through books worth keeping, books worth selling, and what to scrap for book recycling.
In the second, and especially the third room, I sensed we had to once again further sort-through books that seemed arranged more confusing arrays than the books on the tables in the first room.
This place slightly felt like some type of therapy programfor people who had issues with hoarding books. As we were handling books, familiar people in our lives were present in a well-furnished waiting room at his book handling locale, who we visited and left the locale at a late afternoon time.
After waking-up, I sensed two reasons why I may have had this dream:
First reason: I have a small cart, with two small piles of books in an out of the way corner in my living space. I've been meaning to sort through what books to donate, to sell, and book to scrap for recycling. "No, I don't have issues with hoarding books, or anything!" Actually, I value clean, minimalist spaces - that are not boring.
Second reason: I've been to places offering used-books for sale - some books purchased to keep, and sometimes even those books worth selling. I've also visited sellers, and sometimes found the best book deals coming from sellers where patrons had to dig-through stacks of books in order to find those specialty books.
As I've written this, I've pulled-out those piles of books in my out-of-the-way corner to sort-through. Can it be said that I may have that rare oppourtunity to well (pardon the expression)....act on my dream in the comfort of my own home, without the distractions of other people?
