With my sister

I dreamt I was with my sister. She was trying to tell me something, but she wanted me to figure out what it was. I'm looking through her records and paperwork, because somehow I feel that's where it is. She's getting annoyed because I haven't figured out what it is she's trying to tell me.
Then, totally out of left base, she says to me,"Don't call me Maurice. " What? Your name is Elaine, why would I call you Maurice? That name has absolutely no meaning to me or her, or our family. I also realize this may be a recurring dream, because I remember hearing that name before, in a dream. By her.

Ok, here's what I think it means. The part about finding something is about when women make you figure out things without telling you what they want. Because I had been reading about that, and thinking about it.

The only possible explanation about "Maurice" might be that I think I'm misunderstood, in some way,and maybe it's my mind's way of saying I'm misunderstood. At least in my mind? I don't know. Then there's the Steve Miller song, where he says, "Some people call me Maurice", lol
(The Joker). Again that has no meaning to me. Your thoughts on this?

I found Maurice comes from Mauritius ( the name) also meaning " moorish"...

Thanks Helia. Mauritius is also an island in the Indian Ocean. Was I subconsciously thinking about that song? I dunno.

sure Mike..but when a dream uses a figure like your sister (with some strange names etc) can that also mean: something relativ ! to you..some unc. things in your fem side
when ever a known figure has some strange attributs, it usually is only symbol for something..
